I am a freelance journalist, life coach and author of the best-selling parenting book Toddlers: An Instruction Manual (which features contributions from over 60 parent bloggers). My second self help book How To Overcome Fear of Driving was released at the end of 2012.
I also work as a social media consultant to two international businesses, write for a website focusing on parenting and technology and edit a site for children who blog and their parents, Kids' Blog Club.
Blogging, I do for fun.

It was nominated for Most Entertaining Blog, and Best Family Travel Blog at the 2013 MAD (Mum and Dad) Blog Awards, and for best Blog by a Journalist at Blog Awards Ireland 2012. My blog with my daughter was also nominated as Blog of the Year, Best Writer, Best Family Life, Family Fun, Best Photography, Best Food, Best Schooldays Blog and Most Innovative Blog at the MADs.
I am one of the UK’s most well known life coaches and regularly feature as a parenting expert in UK and international media (most recently BBC radio, Daily Telegraph, Mother & Baby, Practical Parenting, Psychologies, Gurgle and Real People magazines).
I have 2,302 Twitter followers on my main account, plus another 2,919 on three other accounts I run (so 5,221 followers in total).
I founded and run the only online community for women in media, MediawomenUK, which has over 1100 members.
Reviews on this blog
My children are a boy and girl aged 9 and 13, and we are happy to consider reviewing products, experiences and anything of interest to us as a family and relevant to this blog. I also co-write a blog with my daughter which you can see here , and my son has his own blog here. We live in Brighton and often travel to London for events.
I do not accept payment for reviews, and anything we write about is covered honestly and truthfully and with an independent opinion. Reviews on my blogs are a mixture of things we've bought or experienced, and things we've been sent free of charge for the purposes of review.
