I too adored the session on story writing, was my absolute highlight. Now have a desire to buy a flat cap and some pink wellies in the hope that I can channel a little of that genius! I am glad you enjoyed the LOLZ session, I did too, and not just because I got to sit next to Tim Dowling!

Joanne Mallon

Thank you very much for commenting Sonya. Yes I thought it was great, and you were great. Well done!

Love your opening quotes! Agree too Jon Ronson was awesome, and the story telling session. Great (and subtle) travel tip.

Wish I had met you. This is one of my favourite posts of the day. Ha ha shouty TV! Love it! Jeremy Kylie stylie or superior to that? I was the lass guilty of shouting about boobs on the balcony - I am available if you start making TV shows again ;-)
It's taken me till today to assess what I said and why I said it, because a comment today on my post forced me to do so. Was good introspection :-)
I wish my post discussed all of the sessions. Over the years I have gone to many conferences and people can always rely on me to tell them what happened in EVERY session and to type up all of my notes. I have sadly done neither this year and EVEN Liz Jones did not have that effect on me or my resulting post. Yours is very comprehensive and witty! I love witty!

Awesome post. Lots of people talking about the writing session! Bit gutted I missed it! Hoping someone may have a cheeky filming of it lurking around the interwebs!

Loved that I started and ended the day with you :) I had a great day. I did wish I could split myself in half and do clinic and attend sessions, but write ups like this help a lot.

Thank you too Sarah, Liska and Kelly.

@Liska - I am old skool (ie old) so it was pre-Jeremy Kyle but yes, my programmes were along those lines but maybe a touch less mean. This is why I still enjoy a panel where people put different points of view and discuss them with intelligence and passion. And a bit of shouting.
