when i saw this film advertised my first reaction was 'thankgod they're past the age for it'. i would have had to take advance action. that usually takes the form of dire warnings/ lectures/ information on medical matters/ explanations of how society will rot and the house burn down if we see that film. better see another one with mama's guidance!

    Joanne Mallon

oh you are lucky grit, once they get old enough to see most rated 12 films, then you are into territory of movies you might actually want to watch, as opposed to being forced along against your will.

So you CAN survive the Smurf movie with your sanity, if not your sobriety, intact? Who knew?

Love your tips about SATC2. That movie was so awful it couldn't even be enjoyed on the "bad movie" scale.

    Joanne Mallon

I know Jennifer! I enjoy a bad movie from time to time, but that one was entirely without redeeming characteristics. At least The Smurfs had a cat.

    Tamsin

Eeek, I rather enjoyed the Smurfs. Was my favourite show as a kid so maybe I regressed to an age when it didn't matter about the crapness. I spent a lot of time trying to look up Scottish Smurf's skirt...snigger

    Joanne Mallon

Well if you have a dirty enough mind, anything can be enjoyable...
